Now in it's 18th year, each issue includes hotel and destination reviews, adoption stories and the latest trends. Sims also is founder of the Annual Cross-country Pet Adoption Tour, Get Your Licks on Route 66 where along with her husband and three-pack members, travels each year from Los Angeles to Chicago, stopping at shelters along the way to support adoption events. In the first nine years of the tour, they have helped to place over 11,000 pets in to new forever homes.
